The Pure-Vu® System Improves the Colonoscopy Experience

The Pure-Vu® System Improves the Colonoscopy Experience

A high quality colonoscopy requires a high quality bowel prep. A typical bowel prep may require patients to be on a liquid diet for over 24 hours, drink up to four liters of a purgative, spend up to 12 hours prior to the exam periodically going to the bathroom to empty their bowels, and disrupting their daily activities, which could include missing work or other activities.

Pure-Vu® System

The Pure-Vu® system is designed to clean a poorly prepared colon during the colonoscopy procedure thus decreasing the dependency on the pre-procedural prep to achieve a thorough colonoscopy.

What Patients Are Saying After A Pure-Vu® Colonoscopy

I had two previous incomplete exams because of poor bowel preps. This time, with Pure-Vu, the doctor was able to complete the procedure and found a polyp!

Peace of Mind

The Pure-Vu experience was better than before. The prep was more tolerable and less disruptive to daily activities.

Comfort

I would recommend Pure-Vu to family and friends who need a colonoscopy.

The Pure-Vu® System Preparation Used in Clinical Study

A recent study demonstrated the Pure-Vu® System's ability to clean a poorly prepped colon by evaluating in-patient's who had received a reduced pre-procedural preparation. In this study patients were instructed to adhere to a liquid diet for 18 hours and ingest 4 pills of an over the counter bowel stimulant. No standard purgatives were prescribed or consumed by the patients.

Is Pure-Vu® Right for You?

  • Are you concerned with being able to complete the prep?
  • Were you unable to complete the prescribed prep in the past?
  • Was your doctor unable to complete the procedure?
  • Did your doctor ask you to come back for a repeat procedure sooner than the guidelines due to the inability to clearly visualize your colon?1
